Submit Input: Your Name: Write or Paste Input here: Upload picture:      Review Guidelines        A good spot for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Grimes Pond is Spanish Fork, and going for a hike along the Nebo Basin Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Springville, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Provo River. That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Grimes Pond has it all. Camping at Wagon wheel Motel and       Trailer Park is always a great experience; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Summit Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Grimes Pond, you'll find Salem Lake which is a pretty lake, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Payson is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Grimes Pond while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are typically in the 30's,                  and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Grimes Pond. Grimes Pond is not far at all from Provo-Orem, and the Nebo Peak Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Maple Bench Campground is a magnificent place to do that, and for you golfers we recommend close by Gladstan Golf Course. Lakes are great; Lower Pond is a lake that's right next door to Grimes Pond, and you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Sundance.
