    A visit to Green Lake is always a good idea. If only every spot had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great world it would be. Gresham Spring is a gorgeous place to explore while you're at Green Lake, and a splendid nearby hotel is Best Western Capitol Reef Resort. If you need a site to stay Torrey-Days Inn Capitol Reef N.P. is a good choice, and close by you locate the Aquarius Trail which is a nice hiking trail. Around Green Lake you don’t get a  
   lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Oak Draw is always fun, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Indian Trail. Summertime highs at Green Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime
 
               are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Green Lake. Camping is available at Oak Creek Campground, and going for a hike on the Pollywog Lake Trail is always a tremendous adventure.
Why not camp at Pleasant Creek Campground while you're here at Green Lake; in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Fremont River.
