Do stop by Green Fork Reservoir while you're in this part of Utah. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Logan River offers some wonderful whitewater, and since you're here why not stop at Green Fork New Canyon. All the outdoors cool things in the Wasatch Range will keep you coming back many times. Soar down the rapids of Blacksmith Fork in a kayak, and at Green Fork Reservoir you can see Monument Peak. rainfall; April is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July. The warmest time of the year at Green Fork Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 90's while night lows are generally in the
50's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Green Fork Reservoir.

Educational posting about flora, etc. are included around this loop trail. It's fun, too, even if you are a serious hiker. I think I could complete the loop in 15 minutes, but one posting I saw said 45 minutes. Walk it and find out. Easy access right off the road.... |
