Go for a hike on the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail, and there's some interesting stuff to catch a glimpse of at Deer Lake Dam in close proximity to Grayling Lake. At Grayling Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in       the 0's overnight here at Grayling Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Uinta Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Grayling Lake; High Line Trail is a wonderful local trail; since you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Evanston. This lake is so wonderful. Yellowstone River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby White Miller Lake. Lakes are tremendous; Deer Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Grayling Lake, and a quick visit to Buffalo Creek is undeniably a magnificent idea. A great place to camp here at Grayling Lake is Riverview Campground, and paddling on Lake Fork is so much fun. Around Grayling Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls through September; the driest of the months is March. This lake is so wonderful. The Uinta Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are in fact plentiful here at Grayling Lake.
