Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Ruby's Inn; the Black Burn Trail offers hiking at its best. A magnificent spot to camp here at Grass Lakes is Escalante State Park, and don't leave Grass Lakes without first checking out Mud Springs Point. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Grass Lakes. Camping at Barker Reservoir Campground is always a good experience, and Round Willow       Bottom Dam is not far at all from Grass Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Griffin Top can be seen from Grass Lakes, and don't leave Grass Lakes without first paying a visit to Mud Spring. Grass Lakes is mostly a pretty dried up spot; August is when you get the most rain here; January is when it's the driest. The warmest time of the year at Grass Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in                  the 50's.
