One of the dominant characteristics of the surroundings of Grass Lake is The Baldys, and hiking along the Aquarius Trail is delightful fun. Going for a hike along the Pollywog Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This lake is so wonderful. Torrey-Days Inn Capitol Reef N.P. is a tremendous site to get some rest, and do take a hike on       the Indian Trail. Kings Pasture is a beautiful site any time of year, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Capitol Reef Resort is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Grass Lake get into the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Grass Lake. Why not camp at Oak Creek Campground                  since you're here at Grass Lake, and close by East Boulder Draw is a great place to go. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Fremont River; Pleasant Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground.
