Lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out Dry Lake in close proximity to Granite Pond; if you came for an overnight stay Kents Lake Campground is a good place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Panguitch Inn Motel is a good site to get some rest. Circleville RV Park and Store is a splendid campground nearby; a pleasant visit to Granite Valley is a glorious way       to spend an afternoon. Go for a hike on the Copes Dugway, and Echard Canyon is another tremendous location to take a look at close by. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Granite Pond. Don't leave Granite Pond without first going for a hike along the Skyline National Recreation Trail, and there are other sites here than Granite Pond, for example Bendder Pond. There's delightful hiking along the Burnt Hollow Trail, and                  if you need a spot to stay Marianna Inn Motel is a perfect choice. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Elk Meadows, and you can see Granite Knolls from Granite Pond. Granite Pond is a location that is rather dried out frequently; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and June on the other hand is the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Granite Pond, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
