Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do right next door to Goring Pond.       Hiking is a popular thing to do around Goring Pond; Bloomington Lake Trail is a fine local trail; a wonderful location to camp here at Goring Pond is Red Banks Campground. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Logan River; hey, Gotta ski right? Beaver Mountain is a magnificent place to do that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wasatch Range. Not enough hours in a day to                  enjoy the Wasatch Range. If you get bored of Goring Pond, you could also stop at nearby Selman Reservoir, and the High Line Trail offers hiking at its best. Comfort Inn Logan is a great site to get some rest; camping at Lewis M Turner Campground is always a pleasant experience. This lake is so wonderful. There's splendid hiking along the Limber Pine Trail. Goring Pond gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the rain is April, and July on the other hand is the driest. High temperatures at Goring Pond throughout the summertime months are in the 90's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's.
