Brown Lake Campground is a glorious local campground, and at Upper Goose Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Goose Lakes there are some interesting things to see. At Goose Lakes you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest month is January. What a spot this is for outdoors people. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Goose Lakes; Dry Fork Trail is a       magnificent local trail; Deep Creek Campground is a good campground nearby. You truly should love the Uinta Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at SUPER 8 MOTEL - VERNAL; a magnificent place like Horseshoe Park here at Goose Lakes is too delightful to miss. Man, is there a lot of exciting things to do in the Uinta Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Uinta Highline Trail, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Vernal for sure.                  Summer at Goose Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Goose Lakes temperatures descend to the 10's.
