This lake is so wonderful. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Don't leave Gilbert Lake without first going for a hike along the High Line Trail, and you're most likely hooked on lakes, Dollar Lake is one of those close by. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Uinta Mountains. Looking for something close to Gilbert Lake? | | fun. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Uinta Mountains is so good! Good hiking is available along the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail, and the top of Gilbert Peak is easily distinguished from Gilbert Lake. Yellowstone River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby, and you can stay the night at Henrys Fork Campground. Deadhorse Park is a magnificent place here at Gilbert Lake; during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Evanston | |

for sure. Gilbert Lake is pretty arid frequently; most of the rain falls during September while January is commonly the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Gilbert Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are
in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Gilbert Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Gilbert Lake that you need to camp here for
a while, Trail Head Campground is a good site for that, and you can go for a hike on the Shale Dugway. Gilbert Lake is located in the Uinta Mountains.
