Beautiful Gatman Lake has much to offer visitors. If the weather is fine here at Gatman Lake, you can go for a hike along the East Fork Pinto Lake Trail, and why not camp at Highline Trail Head Campground if you're here at Gatman Lake. A spree to Naturalist Basin revitalizes the spirit; if you need a spot to stay Altamont Motel is a magnificent choice. Gatman Lake is a beautiful lake in the Uinta Mountains.

At Gatman Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the
30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Gatman Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Gatman Lake is great fun, Butterfly Campground is a great local campground, and Blue Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
You clearly must go for the Uinta Mountains. On a pretty day you get a view of Mount Agassiz from Gatman Lake; a delightful spot for whitewater paddling is Rock Creek.
