Frog Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Uinta Mountains. Big Bend is an attention-grabbing thing to see if you're here at Frog Lake; a fine nearby hotel is Best Western Inn. For the duration of the days of summer at Frog Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Frog

| | Lake drop into the 0's. Man, is there a lot of cool things to do next to Frog Lake. Don't leave Frog Lake without first paying a visit to Big Bend Hollow Spring, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Yellowstone River.
The Uinta Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Frog Lake, you can go for a hike along the Dry Fork Trail. There's so much to do here | |

at Frog Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wandin Campground is a brilliant place for that.
But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Uinta Mountains. Near Frog Lake you come across Big Bend Hollow which is
a tremendous site to visit; there are some good whitewater spots on Uinta River. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Uinta Canyon Campground; why not a little side visit to Bull Elk Creek. You're sure to stumble upon some
great folks from Vernal here; if you're here you can take a hike along the Shale Dugway.
At Frog Lake you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February.
