High temperatures at Fox Lake through the warm months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Fox Lake descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at       Wandin Campground while you're here at Fox Lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Dry Fork Trail. So many cool things to do in the Uinta Mountains, not sufficient time. Camping is available at Hoop Lake Campground, and if you've had enough of Fox Lake, Fox Lake is nearby. Drift down the rapids of Uinta River in a kayak, and Fox Lake is near Fox Queant Pass which is definitely worth a visit. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Uinta                  Mountains. While you're here at Fox Lake you can take a hike along the Shale Dugway. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Fox Lake. There's some interesting stuff to see at Fox Lake Dam in the vicinity of Fox Lake, and Fox Lake is not the only location close by, Crescent Lake is a close by lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Uinta Mountains.
