This lake is so wonderful. Why not go to Foster Dam while you're here, and you're probably into lakes, Hoosier Lake is one of those close by. It is very arid here at Foster Reservoir typically; August is when you get the most rain here; June is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Hoosier Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay, and going       for a hike along the Spruce Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Throughout the summertime highs here at Foster Reservoir get into the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Foster Reservoir are in the 10's. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do close to Foster Reservoir. Gotta                  ski! Brian Head is a nice location to do that; after a long day outdoors Parowan-Days Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two. On a great day at Foster Reservoir you can take a hike along the Rattlesnake Creek Trail, and why not camp at Pit Stop since you're here at Foster Reservoir. While you're here at Foster Reservoir you can take a hike along the Alpine Pond Trail; of course, this is a pleasant vicinity for folks who like lakes, Robinson Reservoir is a lake close by.
