The scenery at Foster Dam close to Foster Reservoir is beautiful; the Alpine Pond Trail offers hiking at its best. Foster Reservoir is right by the Rattlesnake Creek Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Foster Reservoir; Spruce Trail is a glorious local trail, and a good location to camp here at Foster Reservoir is Pit Stop. Foster Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Vermillion Castle Campground       is a good local campground, and what would winter be without some skiing at Brian Head. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Foster Reservoir. Looking for some flowing water? Try Hoosier Creek, and Parowan-Days Inn is a brilliant location to get some rest. Summertime highs at Foster Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's, and overnight                  lows at Foster Reservoir through the wintertime usually descend into the 10's.
