     If the weather is great here at Forsyth Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Meadow Gulch Salt Gulch Trail, and Forsyth Dam is stunning. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Forsyth Reservoir. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Torrey - Capital Reef is a tremendous choice, and the vistas at Capitol Reef National Park will blow your mind. Some nearby water includes Short Creek; a magnificent site for whitewater paddling is Fremont River.
 
   On a nice day at Forsyth Reservoir you can take a hike along the Great Western Trail; Forsyth Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Pah Ga Ne A Campground is a perfect local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are glorious; Mill Meadow Reservoir is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Forsyth Reservoir; a short trip to Forsyth Springs is always worthwhile. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Forsyth Reservoir highs are  
               typically in the 90's, and the night is somewhat colder of course, usually in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Forsyth Reservoir are in the 10's.
A pleasant journey to Sage Flat is a nice way to spend an afternoon, and a delightful location to go to nearby is Deer Spring Draw. Any time is a magnificent time at Forsyth Reservoir if you like the outdoors. Going for a hike along the Jackson Dugway will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; camping at Pole Campground is always a splendid experience. Around Forsyth Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is June.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Wonderland Inn is a great place to spend a night or two; not far from Forsyth Reservoir you'll hit upon Mill Meadow Reservoir which is a picturesque lake.
