    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Utah you can check out Forest Lake. The peak of Mill Canyon Peak can be seen from Forest Lake, and during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Provo-Orem for sure. During the months of summer, highs frequently are in the 90's at Forest Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Forest Lake  
   temperatures sink to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Alta is a great location to do that; for you golfers we recommend close by Wasatch Mountain State Park Golf Course.
This lake is located in the wonderful Wasatch Range. Get covered with water paddling on East Canyon Creek, and do put some time aside to spend at Big Spring since you're here at Forest Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Wasatch Range. Going for a hike
 
               along the Lake Desolation Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
All year is a magnificent time in the Wasatch Range if you love the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Provo River, and if you need a location to stay Zermatt Resort is a magnificent choice. But wait, there's more to do near Forest Lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Secret Lake; camping at Lame Horse Campground is always a magnificent experience. This lake is so wonderful. This is a tremendous region for folks who like lakes. Pittsburg Lake is a lake close at hand; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Indian Trail.
Just can't get enough of Forest Lake. Everybody close by loves skiing at Brighton, and some nearby water includes Baker Fork. Forest Lake is usually a relatively dehydrated place; throughout April this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Wasatch Range, too great to be true. Dry Fork is a tremendous location to look at; you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Mount Timpanogos Trail.
Stein Ericksen Lodge is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and Forest Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Summit Campground is a brilliant local campground.
