Why not stop by The Forebay if you're passing through these parts. This is a perfect region for folks who like lakes. Yankee Meadows Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity, and after a long day outdoors Parowan-Days Inn is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Nearby lakes? | | Spring; a delightful place close by is Dry Canyon. It's a brilliant idea to stop at Benson Creek, it's next to The Forebay; the Alpine Pond Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at The Forebay. The Forebay is good enough to spend more than a day at, Vermillion Castle Campground is a good local campground, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Rattlesnake Creek Trail. The Forebay, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Don’t forget to go to Grass Valley since you're here at The Forebay. This lake is so wonderful. Brian Head is a brilliant local ski area, and going for a hike along
the Spruce Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. No need to travel far to take a look at interesting stuff like Vermillion Castle, and if the weather is beautiful, you get a
perfect panorama of P Hill from The Forebay. A tour to Cedar Breaks National Monument is recommended, and camping at Pit Stop is always a splendid experience. High temperatures at The Forebay through the summertime months are
in the 90's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at The Forebay dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. The Forebay is pretty dried up commonly; the wettest
month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is June.

Navajo Lake
 | 15 miles away Hey Rob when did you go and how was the weather? We are heading out fathers day weekend....Spent the weekend at Navajo. Caught 1 fish on fly rod from my float tube. Weather was nice, wind picked up on saturday. Didnt see alot of fish caught. Will not give up this lake though. I really liked the drive from Vegas and wish I had longer to stay and search the area.... |
