All through the long summer days at Lake in the Flat Meadow highs are usually in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lake in the Flat Meadow. This lake is so wonderful. Beef Meadows is a tremendous spot; dry warm beds       await you at Hidden Falls Hotel. There is a great hiking trail near Lake in the Flat Meadow called the Stair Trail, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Fremont River. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Lake in the Flat Meadow is great enough to spend more than a day at, Oak Creek Campground is a great local campground, and if you've had enough of Lake in the Flat Meadow, Beaver Dam Reservoir is nearby. If you came to camp Pleasant Creek                  Campground is a fine spot to do that, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Torrey - Capital Reef is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Indian Trail is always a fine adventure. The Aquarius Trail is a good hiking trail near Lake in the Flat Meadow, and Lake in the Flat Meadow is not the only location close by, Emily Lake is a close by lake.
