     Why not camp at Blue Spruce Campground since you're here at Five Lakes. Lakes? Sure, Four Lakes is in the neighborhood. A fine close by hotel is Wonderland Inn; there are delightful locations to look at along the Pollywog Lake Trail. At Five Lakes all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during  
   the wintertime temperatures at Five Lakes drop into the 0's. If you came for an overnight stay Oak Creek Campground is a good location to camp, and there's splendid hiking along the Boulder Mail Trail.
At Five Lakes you don’t see much rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Fremont River close to Five Lakes; there are other locations here than Five Lakes,
 
               for example Rim Lake.
Having a delightful time at Five Lakes is painless. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Torrey - Capital Reef is a perfect location to spend a night or two; don't leave Five Lakes without first going for a hike along the Aquarius Trail.
