Go to Fish Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Fish Lake is a beautiful lake in the Uinta Mountains. At Fish Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently September, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is January. Be careful coming to Fish Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Take a hike on the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail.

| | - West Fork has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by, and a great place to camp here at Fish Lake is Little Lyman Lake Campground. And if that's not enough there's a load more cool things to do in the Uinta Mountains. You're sure to come across some great folks from Evanston here; a nice nearby hotel is Motel 6. Hiking along the High Line Trail is wonderful fun, and why not camp at Meeks Cabin Campground since you're here at Fish Lake.

paddling is glorious on Blacks Fork - East Fork, and Elizabeth Pass is another great place to check out nearby. Through the summer months at Fish Lake highs are mostly in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 40's. During
the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Fish Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
