While you're here at First Water you can take a hike along the Wate Canyon Trail; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WASHINGTON-NORTH ST. GEORGE is a great place to get some rest. Not much rainfall falls here at First Water; March is when you get the most rain here; June is the month with the least moisture. At First Water throughout the warm days of summer       highs are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at First Water dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Going for a hike along the Whipple Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Zion. A charming lake like Pine Valley Reservoir right next door to First Water is a great place to go to; what would                  a place like First Water be without exciting close by highlights like The Bench. Here at First Water there are plenty of people from St. George, and Bark Hollow is close by, and is a nice place. A short journey to First Water Spring is always worthwhile, and the top of Gardner Peak is easily made out from First Water. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Pines Campground is a brilliant place to do that, and hiking along the Reservoir Canyon Trail is great fun. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great planet it would be.
