A brilliant nearby hotel is La Quinta Inn & Suites St. George, and Gardner Peak is pretty and can be observed from here. High temperatures at First Water through the summer months are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for First Water. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Wate Canyon Trail;       First Water Spring is a charming spot to explore while you're at First Water. First Water is generally a relatively dried up location; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is June. First Water is right by the Whipple Trail, and while you're here, you could also go to lovely Second Water. Just can't get enough of First Water. Camping at Pines Campground is always a splendid experience, and a spree to Jodes Flat                  invigorates the spirit. A great place to camp here at First Water is Juniper Park Campground; The Bench is an exciting spot to take a look at while at First Water. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from St. George here, and the Reservoir Canyon Trail offers hiking at its best.
