A visit to Fehr Lake is always a good idea. Fehr Lake is a location that is reasonably dried out mostly; during the month of February you get the most snow around here, and June on the other hand is the driest. Near Fehr Lake you find the Notch Mountain Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and you can stay the night at Bald Mountain Campground. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Uinta Mountains. You can run the rapids of Rock Creek near Fehr

This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Blizzard Lake; Bald Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from Fehr Lake. Bald Mountain Pass is a brilliant site to have a look at right next door to Fehr Lake, and going for a hike on the Highline Trail is always a great adventure. good way to spend an afternoon, and after a long day outdoors Lodge at Stillwater is a fine spot to spend a night or two.
At Fehr Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures
dip down into the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Fehr Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Uinta Mountains. So much fun stuff to do in the Uinta Mountains, not enough
time. There's so much to do here at Fehr Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Butterfly Campground is a magnificent location for that, and the Lofty Lake Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by.
