There is a tremendous hiking trail in the vicinity of Farrell Pond called the Meadow Gulch Salt Gulch Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Elk Campground is a tremendous place to camp. Not much rain falls here at Farrell Pond; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture.       Summertime highs at Farrell Pond frequently tend to be in the 90's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Farrell Pond. Going for a hike on the Great Western Trail is always a perfect adventure, and why not camp at Elkhorn Campground if you're here at Farrell Pond. If you like the outdoors, you'll adore Farrell Pond. There are                  brilliant sites to explore along the Jackson Dugway, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Solomon Reservoir is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
