Summertime at Farmington Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. During the moonlight       hours it's regularly in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Farmington Lake. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Wasatch Range will keep you coming back many times. You'll discover a scenic lake called Smith Creek Lakes near Farmington Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Farmington Lake. Drift down the rapids of Little Cottonwood Creek in a kayak; Snowbasin is a brilliant                  local ski area. You get a perfect vista of Bountiful Peak from Farmington Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites North. Farmington Lake gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the rain is April, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. You have to absolutely dedicate some time to Farmington Flats if you're here at Farmington Lake, and if you want a little side spree, try Farmington Canyon. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Wasatch Range. Don't leave Farmington Lake without first going for a hike along the The Sheep Trail, and swing by Hell Hole Creek it's a magnificent location to have a look at. Everybody close by loves skiing at Wolf Mountain, and you can stay the night at East Canyon - Mormon Flats. This lake is so wonderful. California National Historic Trail is a delightful national park, and paddling on Ogden River is so much fun. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area right next door to Farmington Lake has to offer. For you golfers we recommend close by Davis County Golf Course; Farmington Lake is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Lagoon's RV Park and Campground is a tremendous site to camp nearby.
