A nice nearby hotel is Duchesne River Inns, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Yellowstone River. For the period of the summertime months at Farmers Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Farmers Lake are in the 0's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy       the Uinta Mountains. Have a fine hiking adventure along the High Line Trail, and Lake Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. A lake close by is Center Timothy Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Riverview Campground is a fine place to camp. Why not camp at Swift Creek Campground if you're here at Farmers Lake, and you could always discover Bluebell Pass. Going for a hike along the Shale Dugway will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; not far from Farmers Lake you acquire some great water scenery at East Timothy Dam. This lake is so wonderful. You truly must go for Farmers Lake. If you need a place to stay Altamont Motel is a glorious choice, and do take a hike on the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail.
