     There's whitewater on Ferron Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and Emerald Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Ferron Campground is a glorious local campground. Block Mountain is clearly visible from Emerald Lake, and you'll find a delightful lake called Blue Lake. Summertime highs at Emerald Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to  
   the 30's while Emerald Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. There's always Henningson Dam to go to in the vicinity of Emerald Lake; dry warm beds await you at Willow Creek Inn.
Going for a hike on the Harmon Trail is always a glorious adventure; lakes are such calm sites, why not check out Henningson Reservoir. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Emerald Lake. Go for a hike on the
 
               Dairy Trail, and after a long day outdoors Manti Motel is a fine site to spend a night or two. Emerald Lake gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls all through March; July meanwhile is the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. Peavine Flat is a good spot to stretch your legs a bit, and don't leave Emerald Lake without first going for a hike along the Blue Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Emerald Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ferron Reservoir Campground is a splendid spot for that.
