Going for a hike along the Dry Fork Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and there are other locations here than Elbow Lake, for example Walk-Up Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is perfect here at Elbow Lake, you can go for a hike along the Icy Hill Dugway, and camping is available at Hoop Lake Campground. High temperatures at Elbow Lake       throughout the summer are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Elbow Lake are in the 0's. This spot is excellent, just check out all the amusing things to do in close proximity to Elbow Lake. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Uinta River, and lakes are such serene locations, why not take a look at Reader Lakes. Around                  Elbow Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. So much cool stuff to do in the Uinta Mountains, not sufficient time. Very great water scenery is available at Papoose Lake Dam in the vicinity of Elbow Lake, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Shale Dugway. The Uinta Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
