Elbow Lake gets very little rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is generally the driest month. While you're here at Elbow Lake, you could also check out gorgeous Chepeta Lake; do take a hike on the Icy Hill Dugway. Just can't get enough of Elbow Lake. The scenery at Papoose Lake Dam next to Elbow Lake is pretty. All through the days of summer here at Elbow Lake, high temperatures       mostly get into the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Elbow Lake descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A great location to camp here at Elbow Lake is Hoop Lake Campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Uinta River. Elbow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Uinta Mountains. These mountains rock,                  just look at all the entertaining things to do in the Uinta Mountains. Elbow Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Spirit Lake Campground is a fine local campground, and Elbow Lake is right by the Dry Fork Trail.
