If you are traveling by, why not stop by Echo Reservoir. Echo Reservoir is commonly a relatively arid site; the wettest month of the year is generally April, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Beckwith Spring is a pretty place to check out while you're at Echo Reservoir, and there are brilliant sites to discover along the Union Pacific Rail Trail.
