Echo Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The Wasatch Range scenery is always beautiful. At Echo Reservoir you don’t see much rain; April is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Chalk Creek; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Holiday Hills. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Rockport Lake is near Echo Reservoir, and do take a hike

| | on the The Sheep Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Echo Reservoir. Echo Reservoir is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Camperworld Echo Island Park is a nice spot to camp nearby, and Echo Creek is near Echo Reservoir and is always a bliss to take a look at. at Deer Valley is brilliant. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Echo Reservoir. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Union Pacific Rail Trail, and Bromleys Canyon is a good location to spend
some time. Everybody close by loves skiing at The Canyons, and Holiday Hills RV Park is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop by Echo Dam since you're here, and if you've had enough of Echo Reservoir,
Chappell Lake is nearby. So many fun things in the Wasatch Range, just impressive. Paddling on East Canyon Creek is so much fun, and do put some time aside to spend at Beckwith Spring since you're here at Echo Reservoir. Summer at
Echo Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Echo Reservoir sink into the 10's.

This ski resort has a drop from top to bottom of 2,020 feet which is more than enough for a pleasant top to bottom run. Having 2,200 acres of skiable territory being deficient in terrain won’t happen. The great snow here turns very deep, 42 feet yearly, and that is one of the reasons this is such a fine ski mountain. This ski hill has 7 ski lifts and 4 surface tows, and they are competently maintained and operated by friendly people.
Alta has a reasonable set of trails and an acceptable amount of good ski lifts. This is a nice ski area with lots of different trails; it's totally impossible to get bored here. Alta is a good size ski resort boasting an average elevation difference compared to other US Rockies ski resorts. Alta is skiing only, snowboards are not allowed. The snow-white hills of Utah are something you can’t pass up if you're keen on snowboarding or skiing. On this hill you'll discover 54 different ski trails; it's a magnificent set.
