If you are in this part of Utah make sure to pay a visit to Echo Lake. Echo Lake gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the snow is February while June is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You could also explore Broadhead Lake since you're here at Echo Lake; it's nearby; float down the rapids of Duchesne River in a kayak. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Uinta Mountains, too tremendous to be true. A lake nearby is Lilly
Lake, and going for a hike on the Skinner Cutoff Trail is always a great adventure.
Paddling on Rock Creek is so much fun, and you might also want to pay a visit to Bald Mountain Pass if you're here at Echo Lake. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Echo Lake. Murdock Basin is a wonderful place, and if the weather is pretty, you acquire a magnificent vista of Bald Mountain from Echo Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lilly Lake Campground

               is always a fine experience.
All year is a magnificent time in the Uinta Mountains if you love the outdoors. If you came to camp Bald Mountain Campground is a tremendous location to do that, and close by you hit upon the Notch Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail. Lodge at Stillwater is a glorious place to get some rest, and the Lofty Lake Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. The Uinta Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
