East Timothy Lake is a lake worth visiting. A good close by hotel is Altamont Motel; pleasant hiking is available along the High Line Trail. East Timothy Lake is pretty dried out commonly; most of the rain falls during September; March is when it's the driest. All through the summer, highs typically are in the 80's at East Timothy Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; after the sun

for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Uinta Mountains. After a long day outdoors Duchesne River Inns is a magnificent place to spend a night or two.
That right there is plenty of cool stuff already but it
goes on, the Uinta Mountains has it all. There are some great whitewater spots on Yellowstone River, and there are tremendous places to look at along the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail. There's whitewater on Lake Fork for all
you thrill seekers, and East Timothy Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Riverview Campground is a great local campground. The Uinta Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
