You definitely have to like the Uinta Mountains. East Timothy Dam is an interesting thing to check out. Trail Rider Pass is a nice spot to visit in the vicinity of East Carrol Lake. Lakes? Sure, Center Timothy Lake is around here. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Uinta Mountains. Take a hike on the High Line Trail, and if you don't       mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lake Fork. Not much rainfall falls here at East Carrol Lake; most of the rain falls during September, and the driest month of the year is March. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Riverview Campground, and Yellowstone River is a great whitewater spot nearby. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Swift Creek Campground is a good campground here, and why not take a refreshing                  hike along the Shale Dugway. During the days of summer highs here at East Carrol Lake get into the 80's with night lows in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at East Carrol Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. East Carrol Lake is right by the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail; at East Carrol Lake you always meet someone from Evanston.
