Around Dugway Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A great close by hotel is Greenwell Inn & Convention Center; you can run the rapids of San Rafael River. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry Campground. There's so       much to do here at Dugway Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Cedar Mountain Campground is a perfect place for that. At Dugway Reservoir throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Dugway Reservoir tend to be in the 10's.
