Duck Lake gets very little precipitation; all through September this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. Hiking along the High Line Trail is pleasant fun, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Blacks Fork - East Fork. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Duck Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink       down into the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Duck Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Meeks Cabin Campground, and going for a hike along the Fish Creek                  National Recreation Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is located in the wonderful Uinta Mountains. Man, is there loads of cool things to do near Duck Lake. Duck Lake is right by the Bear River Smiths Fork Trail.
