Molen Seep Wash is a wonderful place to stop by near Dry X Reservoir; if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cottonwood Creek. Summertime highs at Dry X Reservoir typically tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 30's while Dry X Reservoir night low temperatures       during the winter are in the 10's. You could also explore Straight Hollow North Debris Basin Reservoir while you're here at Dry X Reservoir; it's nearby, and a tremendous location for whitewater paddling is Ferron Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable things to do next to Dry X Reservoir. The Hole Trail offers hiking at its best, and Millsite Golf Course is a perfect golf course close by. It is very dried out here at Dry X                  Reservoir ordinarily; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and April on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Dry Wash Trail, and Dry X Reservoir is a great place to visit for more than one day, Cattle Country Mobile Home Campground is a great place to camp nearby. Stay the night at Buckboard - Manti-LaSal National Forest; Dry X Reservoir is not the only site nearby, Straight Hollow South Debris Basin Reservoir is a nearby lake.
