Getting to Dry Lakes Creek from Dry Lakes is trouble-free, and Dry Lakes is right by the Rattlesnake Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Brian Head, and Moseman Canyon is a tremendous place to spend some time. Around Dry Lakes you don’t get a lot of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and June is when it's the driest. Throughout       the months of summer here at Dry Lakes, high temperatures generally get into the 90's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and night lows through the wintertime for Dry Lakes tend to be in the 10's. Take a hike on the Alpine Pond Trail, and a good close by hotel is Cedar Breaks Lodge and Spa. This lake is so wonderful. This is a tremendous area for people who like lakes. The Forebay is a lake in close proximity;                  Cedar Breaks National Monument is a wonderful place nearby. Nearby lakes? Sure, Hendrickson Lake is near Dry Lakes, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Spruce Trail. Vermillion Castle Campground is a nice campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors Cedar Breaks Lodge & Spa is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Dry Lakes.
