You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Elk Meadows if you're here; you can go for a hike on the Smith Canyon Trail. Dry Lake is pretty dry generally; August is when you get the most rain here, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Twin Peaks is scenic and can be seen from Dry Lake, and a lake nearby is Hell Hole Reservoir. Stay the night at Piute Campground.       Yeah, come here to Dry Lake for a pleasant time. Paddling on Sevier River is so much fun. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Dry Lake has to offer, you can camp at Fats Country Cafe. Going for a hike on the Burnt Hollow Trail is always a fine adventure, and Dry Lake is not the only site nearby, Piute Reservoir is a nearby lake. After a long day outdoors Richfield Travelodge is a splendid site to spend a night or two, and there is a fine hiking                  trail close by called the Rocky Ford Trail. For the duration of the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Dry Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's.
