Dry Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Lake - Dixie National Forest is a delightful local campground, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Big Hollow Trail. On a magnificent day at Dry Lake you can take a hike along the Dry Lakes Trail; the sights at Cedar Breaks National Monument will blow your mind. At Dry Lake all through
the warm months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while Dry Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. Any
time is a pleasant time at Dry Lake if you like the outdoors. The summits of the Harmony Mountains add much beauty to the area around Dry Lake; after a long day outdoors Knights Inn Cedar City is a glorious spot to spend a night or two.
