This lake is so wonderful. Man, is there heaps of fun things to do in the Uinta Mountains. Looking for something near Dowds Hole? Long Park Reservoir is in the neighborhood, and the Uinta Highline Trail offers hiking at its best. Be careful coming to Dowds Hole, you might not ever wanna return home       again. A great place to explore near Dowds Hole is Scraper Spring Draw, and Deep Creek Campground is a good campground nearby. The Uinta Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Put some time aside to spend at Dowd Spring if you're here at Dowds Hole; Dowd Creek is close to Dowds Hole and is always a joy to check out. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Uinta Mountains, too good to be true. Nearby lakes? Sure, Browne Lake is right next door to Dowds                  Hole, and since you're here at Dowds Hole it's a wonderful idea to go to Elk Park. After a long day outdoors SpringHill Suites Vernal is a good location to spend a night or two; why not take a refreshing hike along the Icy Hill Dugway. This lake is so wonderful. Dowds Hole is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Sheep Creek Bay Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby, and Dowds Hole is right by the Hideout Eagle Basin Trail. The warmest time of the year at Dowds Hole comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
