This lake is one of the great places here in the Uinta Mountains. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Dowds Hole. A fine spot to camp here at Dowds Hole is Sheep Creek Bay Campground, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Hideout Eagle Basin Trail. Going for a hike along the Uinta Highline Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of       this neighborhood It's always pleasant to stop at Dowd Spring. This is a perfect vicinity for people who like lakes. Long Park Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood; it's a fine idea to stop by Dowd Creek. Yeah, come up here to the Uinta Mountains for a fine time. If you feel like a little side trip, try Scraper Spring Draw, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Browne Lake. Be careful coming to the Uinta                  Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. Rodeway Inn Vernal is a delightful place to get some rest; if you're here you can take a hike along the Icy Hill Dugway. Summertime at Dowds Hole comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Dowds Hole.
