Dog Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Brighton is a perfect local ski area, and don’t forget to go to Giles Flat while you're here at Dog Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Park City Golf Club not far from Dog Lake, and a short visit to Big Flat Spring is always worthwhile. You truly have to have a thing about the Wasatch Range. Good hiking is available along the The Sheep Trail, and the summit of Clayton Peak can be spotted from Dog Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Canyons Grand Summit Resort is a great spot to get some rest; Dog Lake is a brilliant spot to camp, Wasatch Mountain State Park is a brilliant spot. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Dog Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's; nighttime lows in the
10's for Dog Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit East Canyon Creek, and everyone close by loves skiing at Solitude. Man, is there loads of entertaining things to do in the Wasatch Range. Dry warm beds await you at Westgate Park
City Resort And Spa; you can go for a hike on the Mount Timpanogos Trail.
So many exciting things to do here in the Wasatch Range, too great to be true. If you would like a little side tour, try Mill F East Fork. Dog Lake is
a beautiful lake in the Wasatch Range. It is very dried up here at Dog Lake regularly; April is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July.
Any time is a splendid time at Dog Lake if you like the outdoors.
At Dog Lake you always meet someone from Provo-Orem. Lakes are great; Lake Catherine is a lake that's in close proximity to Dog Lake.
