If you like lakes and you're in this part of Utah you can check out Dixon Pond. For the period of the warm months, highs usually are in the 80's at Dixon Pond with night lows in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Dixon Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Trail is pleasant fun. Glide down the rapids of Provo River in a kayak; not far from Dixon Pond you'll discover Grimes Pond which is a picturesque lake.
While you're here at Dixon Pond you can take a hike along the Nebo Peak Trail;
why not head up to Sundance and strap some skis to your feet. Around Dixon Pond you don’t get a lot of rainfall; April is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is
so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Dixon Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Wagon wheel Motel and Trailer Park is a great spot for that, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Payson.
