Dixon Pond is not the only spot close by, Grimes Pond is a close by lake, and if you're a golfer then a brilliant nearby course is Gladstan Golf Course. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Provo River, and if you've had enough of Dixon Pond, Lower Pond is close by. Comfort Inn Payson is a pleasant place to get some rest;       since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Provo-Orem. Wagon wheel Motel and Trailer Park is a glorious local campground; dry warm beds await you at Springville Days Inn. Around Dixon Pond you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually April, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July.
