Divide Lake is located in the Uinta Mountains. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Uinta Mountains rules! Fox Lake is a tremendous lake near Divide Lake, and going for a hike on the Dry Fork Trail is always a perfect adventure. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Uinta Mountains has to offer.       If you come at the right time of year, Yellowstone River offers some good whitewater. So many amusing things right next door to Divide Lake, simply impressive. There is a delightful hiking trail close to Divide Lake called the Shale Dugway, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore Island Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Divide Lake is near Fox Queant Pass which is definitely worth going to, and Wandin Campground is a great campground                  nearby. After a long day outdoors Best Western Inn is a good place to spend a night or two, and there are other places here than Divide Lake, for example Island Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Uinta River; if you came for an overnight stay Hoop Lake Campground is a splendid site to camp. All through the summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Divide Lake; the night is a tad colder of course, usually in the 50's.
