Divide Lake gets very little rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. Any time is a nice time at Divide Lake if you go for the outdoors. Lakes?       Sure, Bennion Lake is in close proximity, and hiking along the Shale Dugway is good fun. The Uinta Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Yellowstone River; camping is available at Hoop Lake Campground. A glorious location to go to in close proximity to Divide Lake is Fox Queant Pass, and why not stop by Island Lake Dam since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched,                  you can always go whitewater paddling on Uinta River; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Dry Fork Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Divide Lake, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, mostly in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Divide Lake temperatures fall to the 0's.
