A visit to Deer Lick Reservoir is always a good idea. Deer Lick Reservoir is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Bear Lake State Park is a magnificent local campground, and if you need a place to stay Crystal Inn Logan is a brilliant choice. Deer Lick Reservoir is frequently a pretty dried out spot; April is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.

Sure, Hump Pond is just a very short distance away. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Deer Lick Reservoir temperatures are usually in the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Reservoir are in the 10's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wasatch Range. Have a good hiking adventure along the Limber Pine Trail, and everybody close by loves skiing at Beaver Mountain.

things to do in the Wasatch Range. You're almost certainly interested in lakes, Kearl Pond is one of those nearby, and you can run the rapids of Logan River. Since you're here at Deer Lick Reservoir why not check out Gorge Canyon;
Blacksmith Fork is a nice whitewater spot close by. Deer Lick Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Wasatch Range.
This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Hardware Ranch Trail, and a short visit to Cabin Spring is always worthwhile.
