Deer Lake

Take a side journey to Buffalo Creek. A lake nearby is Toquer Lake, and Deer Lake Dam is gorgeous. So much fun stuff in the Uinta Mountains, just inspiring. You could also stop at Craig Lake while you're here at Deer Lake; it's nearby. Camping is available at Swift Creek, and Ashley National Forest is a perfect place to go.
The close by grade II, 2-mile-in-length Swift Creek to Reservoir sector of whitewater on Yellowstone River is a heap of fun. This segment
of Yellowstone River is pleasant for those without a great deal of whitewater practice. Whitewater rapids are dangerous phenomenons, so you should check restrictions before heading out.
