This lake is so wonderful. The Copes Dugway is a great hiking trail next to Deer Lake, and you can stay the night at Kents Lake Campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clear Creek. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Kents Lake, and there's always Middle Kents Lake Number       Two Dam to pop by near Deer Lake. At Deer Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Deer Lake. There is a splendid hiking trail in the neighborhood of Deer Lake called the Skyline National Recreation Trail. There's so much to do here at Deer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Little Reservoir                  Campground is a perfect location for that. Going for a hike on the Bullion Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Lakes? Sure, Middle Kents Lake Number Two is around here. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Deer Lake. Dry Hollow is a pleasant spot to spend some time at, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Beaver. Deer Lake gets very little rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful.
