Hiking is a popular thing to do around Deep Lake; Second Lefthand Fork Trail is a pleasant local trail; if you get bored of Deep Lake you could also have a look at nearby Big Lake. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Deep Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Doctor Creek       - Fishlake National Forest is a fine local campground, and good hiking is available along the Koosharem Guard Station Scrub Flat Trail. If you go for the outdoors, you'll like Deep Lake. Take a side trip to White Pine Creek, and don't leave Deep Lake without first going for a hike along the Winkel Bob Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Richfield Travelodge; Glenwood Mountain is a peak you can catch a sight of from Deep Lake. Around Deep Lake you don’t get a                  lot of rain; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while January is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Bowery Creek - Fishlake National Forest is a wonderful place to do that; don’t forget to go to Circle Flat since you're here at Deep Lake. Annabella Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and don't leave Deep Lake without first paying a visit to Whooton Spring. If you need a site to stay Quality Inn Richfield is a brilliant choice; if you desire a little side journey, try Henries Hollow. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Deep Lake. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 40's; overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Deep Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
