If you are in Uintah county it's always a good idea to stop by Dead Lake. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Uinta Mountains. If you're into cool geologic traits, try Hen Lee Bench; Paradise Park Dam is striking. Dead Lake is a beautiful lake in the Uinta Mountains. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Dead Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's;

At Dead Lake you don’t see much rain; during the month of May you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest. Any time is a tremendous time at Dead Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Park here at Dead Lake is too glorious to miss; you're almost certainly into lakes, Little Elk Lake is one of those nearby.
This site, the Uinta Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. If you came for an overnight stay Whiterocks
Campground is a good spot to camp, and perfect hiking is available along the Dry Fork Trail. People from Vernal love to come to Dead Lake, and Best Western Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Paradise Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Dead Lake; Icy Hill Dugway is a great local trail.
