| | near. This lake is so wonderful. Copper Chase Condominiums is a perfect location to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Mammoth Springs Campground is a good place to camp. Near Dead Lake you discover wonderful places like Castle Valley, and a fine vista of pretty Blue Spring Mountain is available. to Dry Valley is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon, and if you get bored of Dead Lake you could also have a look at close by Meadow Lodge Lake. All through the summer months at Dead Lake highs are usually in the 80's with overnight
lows in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Dead Lake are in the 10's. It is very dried out here at Dead Lake ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is regularly August,
that's the one that rains the most while June is frequently the driest month. There's great hiking along the Rattlesnake Creek Trail.

 | Hey Rob when did you go and how was the weather? We are heading out fathers day weekend....Spent the weekend at Navajo. Caught 1 fish on fly rod from my float tube. Weather was nice, wind picked up on saturday. Didnt see alot of fish caught. Will not give up this lake though. I really liked the drive from Vegas and wish I had longer to stay and search the area.... |
