Arches National Park is a good local destination here at Dark Canyon Lake, and you can stay the night at Warner Campground. Lakes are such calm places, why not visit Beaver Lake close to Dark Canyon Lake, and after a long day outdoors Red Stone Inn is a perfect location to spend a night or two.
