Crouse Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Uinta Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Green River, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Jones Hole Trail. Man, is there a heap of cool things to do in the Uinta Mountains. Camping at Red Creek Campground is always a good experience, and Flaming Gorge Lodge is a great place to get some rest. So many fun things to do here       in the Uinta Mountains, too good to be true. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can take a look at Crouse Dam, and the Daniels Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. A good site to camp here at Crouse Reservoir is Pugmire Pocket Campground, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Zelph Calder Reservoir. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Crouse Reservoir. All through the moonlight                  hours it's frequently in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Crouse Reservoir. Just can't get enough of Crouse Reservoir. A glorious place next to Crouse Reservoir is Mail Draw, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Red Rock Nature Trail.
