The beauty of Crescent Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Crystal Inn Logan is a great choice, and if the weather is beautiful, you acquire a fine view of Steam Mill Peak from Crescent Lake. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Wasatch Range. People from Logan love to come to Crescent Lake; a wonderful site is Crescent Lake Canyon. Mountain is a magnificent site to do that; Lewis M Turner Campground is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Near Crescent Lake you locate the High Line Trail which is a good hiking trail, and a fine nearby
hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LOGAN. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are in fact abundant here at Crescent Lake. Blacksmith Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot in the vicinity of Crescent Lake, and why not camp
at Red Banks Campground since you're here at Crescent Lake. So much amusing stuff to do in the Wasatch Range, not sufficient time. A lake close by is Steam Mill Lake, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Logan River. Crescent
Lake is a location that is quite dry usually; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest of the months is July. Going for a hike on the Limber Pine Trail is always a glorious adventure.

Bloomington Lake Trail
 | ...rail and Bloomington Lake is up Bloomington Canyon on the West Side of the Bear Lake Valley. The canyon road is accessed off of Highway 89 in the community of Bloomington. It is approximately 11 miles to the top of the canyon and parking area. The road is dirt and gravel and suitable for most passenger cars. It is a short trail to the lake where you will be rewarded with a beautiful high mountain lake with high surrounding cliffs. There are many trails the lead off from the canyon and connect to other surrounding canyons. One of the more notable trails is the Highline Trail. This is an approximate 60 mile trail that runs north and south along the ridge line of the mountains. The trail can be accessed at many point including the top of Bloomington Canyon. At the parking area the road continues a bit futher west and the road turns into a trail that leads up to the ridge.  | 10 miles away The Limber Pine trail is more of a nature walk than a hike. It's good for kids and those seeking an easy, short trail. Educational posting about flora, etc. are included around this loop trail. It's fun, too, even if you are a serious hiker. I think I could complete the loop in 15 minutes, but one posting I saw said 45 minutes. Walk it and find out. Easy access right off the road.... |
