Crescent Lake is located in the Wasatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Crystal Inn Logan is a fine choice, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Logan River. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do near Crescent Lake. Lakes are such calm sites, why not stop at Hidden Lake near Crescent Lake, and the slopes of Beaver       Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Crescent Lake. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 40's. Highs all through the winter are regularly in the 30's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Crescent Lake tend to be in the 10's. These mountains rock, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Wasatch Range. A glorious spot to camp here at Crescent Lake is Red Banks Campground, and Holiday Inn Express                  Hotel & Suites LOGAN is a splendid spot to get some rest. Steam Mill Peak can be seen from Crescent Lake; the smiling people of Logan like to hang out nearby. If you would like a little side trip, try Crescent Lake Canyon; why not take a refreshing hike along the Bloomington Lake Trail. Crescent Lake gets very little rain; through June this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. You clearly have to love the Wasatch Range. Blacksmith Fork has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by; hiking along the Limber Pine Trail is perfect fun. This lake is so wonderful.
